Thank you for submitting this report. Harford County does not own or maintain the street lights. We would ask that you submit your request for repair to BG&E using the following directions. This way you can follow the process and see when the repair is scheduled.
Thanks and if you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at 410-638-3420.
To start: Go to BGE.com – Click on OUTAGES - REPORT A STREETLIGHT OUTAGE, at this point a map will come up, type in the address, hit enter or you can get there by zooming in, *please note, this part may take a minute to load to the address. Once it zooms in to the address entered, it will show icons with light bulbs that BGE maintains, “County & STATE”. If it doesn’t show up on the map, more than likely it will be private area lighting. Click on the pertinent bulb and just follow the prompts from there. Once you have filled out all the information, the icon will change and that will let you know action will be taken.
I know in reading this it may seem like a lengthy process but actually it is very quick and easy.
